Maritza Jaser has been mastering it for nearly three decades.
As a Paramedical Aesthetician and Educator , Maritza brings over 27 years of hands-on experience in advanced skincare and facial treatments. She didn’t just learn from a textbook; she built her expertise working directly alongside internal medicine and dermatology surgery physicians.
This study system was created from real classroom experiences with my students.
It helped them:
- Understand, not memorize.
- Focus on what matters for the exam
- Feel confident starting work immediately
- I follow the Milady curriculum- but I teach it the way it should be taught
The Clinical Difference
Maritza doesn’t just hold a state facialist license. She is heavily credentialed in the medical space, holding certifications as a:
Medical Assistant & Phlebotomist
EKG & Vascular Ultrasound Technician
Certified Specialist in Micro-needling, Microdermabrasion, and Advanced Chemical Peels (Physician’s Choice of America & Modified Jessner)
When you learn from Maritza, you are learning the exact standards required by top-tier medical spas and dermatology clinics.
About Me:
Why do you believe esthetician school isn't enough to succeed?
Because esthetician schools are designed to teach you how to pass the state board and maintain basic sanitation, not how to clear severe cystic acne or reverse deep pigmentation. In my 27 years of experience as a paramedical aesthetician, I’ve seen too many brilliant professionals give up because they lacked the clinical confidence that only comes from medical-grade protocols. You need advanced continuing education to actually survive and thrive in the treatment room.
What is your stance on the rise of social media estheticians?
Being viral on social media does not equate to clinical mastery. Right now, the industry is flooded with advice from newly licensed professionals who prioritize aesthetic spa trends over cellular science. My background comes from working directly in dermatology surgery and internal medicine, where we relied on proven biological outcomes, not internet fads. True, lasting financial success comes from delivering undeniable, life-changing results to your clients.
Are aggressive chemical peels and high-percentage acids outdated or dangerous?
Not at all, but treating them like basic spa add-ons is incredibly dangerous. There is a huge misconception that strong acids will automatically damage the skin barrier. When used with precise knowledge of pH, pKa, and Fitzpatrick skin types, advanced acid profiles are incredibly safe and transformative. As a former clinical instructor for L’Oréal, La Roche-Posay, and SkinCeuticals, I teach that the power and safety lie entirely in the practitioner’s understanding of cosmetic chemistry, pre-conditioning, and post-peel care.
Do I need to work in a medical spa to use these advanced protocols?
No! While my career was built working alongside doctors, the goal of Skin Pro Academy is to bring that elite medical-grade knowledge directly to independent estheticians. You can absolutely offer paramedical-level treatments—like advanced micro-needling and complex acid therapies—in your own solo suite, as long as you operate within your state’s scope of practice and maintain surgical-level safety standards.
Should I run discounts or use deal sites to build my initial clientele?
Absolutely not. Discounting your services attracts bargain-hunters, not loyal clients, and it inevitably leads to rapid burnout. When you elevate your skills to a paramedical level and master treatments that actually alter the skin’s structure, you no longer have to compete on price. You build a premium brand where clients happily pay top dollar because they trust your clinical authority and see real results.
What makes your mentorship different from other beauty business coaches?
I am not a business coach teaching you how to make Instagram reels; I am a clinical educator teaching you how to treat complex skin. Most coaches simply haven’t been in the industry long enough to see the long-term effects of the treatments they recommend. I bring over 27 years of hands-on experience, providing you with the exact doctor-approved frameworks that have kept my clients’ skin healthy and my books full for nearly three decades.
A Simpler Way to Study & Understand
I align with the book, but I go beyond it to teach you how to THINK like an Esthetician
